ST-237 Image
Gallery
Revised November 2004
This page contains a short gallery
of images captured by the Centurion 18 and an SBIG ST 237 camera. These
images are presented for historical value since the 237 is now
considered too small of a chip for serious deep sky imaging. Many
of these images are from 1999-2000.
The ST 237 camera is an entry
level CCD imager built by SBIG. It is a very compact camera with
a built in color filter wheel. The chip on this camera has a small
640X 480 pixel array with a 7.4 micron square pixel size. The
imager size is just .14 x .19 inches. The sampling factor is ~
1.2 arc seconds/ pixel with the Centurion 18's 50" fl. .
