S&T Comparison Image

A more extended Cats Eye Nebula NGC 6543

Taken with ST-2000 CCD during Centurion 18 check-out for Middlesex School in 2002

Note: Just like the S&T image, this is a combination of exposures, some very short and some very long in order to show all the

dynamic range. The central portion is shown as a negative to bring out details. This is a very small object.

This was done from the Astro Works driveway in exotic Aguila AZ.

The 2.6 meter Nordic telescope benifits from some of the best seeing conditions on the planet from La Palma, Canary Islands.
